Q: When did you arrive in SL the first time and what brought you to Second Life?
A: In 2005 and left soon then came back multiple times to feel it and then full time in 2017. Virtual worlds were a new thing and something different which attracted my attention.
Q: Can you tell us a bit about how you’ve spent your Second Life? Hobbies, interests.. things you’ve learned along the way ?
A: Well Second Life usually is my day time stuff when I work in RL. I usually am online during the day time and then logout in the evening time and am rarely online in the night time. Not a lot of hobbies besides some club visits and supporting a few artists. Usually my focus is on building the Cuddles brand and different ways to promote it.
Q: Tell us about your business. When was it founded? How many organizers/founders? How many SLers do you staff, etc?
A: It was started in 2017 itself as a small affordable land renting business. As there are multiple rental companies, competition is huge with different offers. I quickly found out that Customer Service is the only USP one can have besides attractive pricing is the only way ahead. Cuddles has been a one man band since the beginning and its hard to find dedicated staff in SL so to keep life simple it’s better to do it myself.
Q: Was there a special reason you chose to sponsor the Avi Choice Awards?
A: I always believe in giving back to society from my gains. I like to support businesses who do such jobs of identifying quality work in Second Life. Also it is a very good opportunity to tell the world that we exist too.
Q: Do you have any specific charities you support in SL? If so, who and why?
A: No Cuddles has had no opportunity in this.
Q: Do you want to share a look at your life outside of SL with us? What do you or did you do for a living? Does your family support your SL aspirations?
A: I work in a Technology Customer Service role and have a small family. Yeah, my family is quite fine with my Second Life aspirations.
Q: Second Life is full of creative, talented, inspirational, kind and diverse people. Tell us about some of your biggest inspirations in SL? .. a memory or happening that stands out as inspirational, mind-blowing or heart-felt? Who has impressed you in your Second Life journey?
A: I have seen multiple occasions people doing brilliant stuff in SL like supporting and helping each other. SL can also act as a lovely medium of helping people with mental help situations, supporting each other in acute situations of life.
Q: Anything else you’d like us to know about you, a special mentor, friends or your business?
A: I have come across loads of people who did their job of supporting me, training me, helping me in upgrading myself as a person or the physical avatar itself. I cannot single out one person in that role really. I would like to thank everyone for being there in my Second Life journey, contributing to my growth.
